These new M&S x Rosie satin pyjamas look just like a £200 pair by Sleeper

Finding the right pair of pyjamas for this time of year can seem like a tough deal. It’s still August, so technically we’re in prime summertime, but the weather has been incredibly unpredictable lately and rather chilly compared to ‘normal’. As we go into September, the weather is likely to become even cooler, meaning your usual short PJ set or nightie may not cut it.

This is where a pair of silk or satin pyjamas really works. Even a full-length set is super lightweight, but will still keep you relatively warm until the real winter chill arrives (and then you can just throw a cosy knit on top in the evenings). But this type of nightwear can be super expensive, largely due to the silky material. For example, The White Company’s silk sets are £189, and Sleeper’s gorgeous green satin pair is £200, despite being incredibly chic.

Sleeper Oversized Satin Pyjama Set, £200, Selfridges

Luckily, Marks & Spencer is here to save the day as it so often does. The brand’s new Rosie Satin Pyjama set is both light and warm at the same time, and at just £35, is far cheaper than the likes of Sleeper’s version.

Rosie Satin Pyjama Set in Dusty Green, £35, M&S

The gorgeous pair comes in a lovely dusty green hue, with delicate spotted detailing. ‘The set is cut to a comfy regular shape and features a vintage-inspired jacquard print. The blouse-style top has floaty sleeves with elasticated cuffs and a flattering notch neckline, while the bottoms have an elasticated waistband for a flexible fit. The fabric is antistatic and doesn’t cling to you,’ said the brand. It comes in sizes 6-22, and currently, every size is still in stock online, so it’s worth pouncing now.

If green isn’t your thing, the PJs also come in a pretty floral print, which is equally as appealing. So far shoppers are loving both colours, with the pyjamas gaining five-star reviews on their respective product pages.
