We love nothing more than spotting an excellent dupe that costs a fraction of the price of the original and somewhere you’ll always find exactly that is Primark. Previously known to stock dupes of & Other Stories’ strappy mule sandals for £75 less and a £4 cream bronzer that shoppers compared to Chanel’s £43 Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream, it’s fair to say that Primark is giving Aldi a run for their money on the duping front.
A pair of pyjamas from Primark most recently caught our eye; posted to Primark’s Instagram page with the caption ‘Dreamy Thursday night activated’, the pyjamas quickly racked up an impressive nearly 30,000 likes.
Featuring a stunning bird print against a teal background, the two-piece satin pyjama set – made up of a pair of long trousers with a drawstring and a long sleeve button-up shirt – looks super luxurious and way more expensive than the mere £20 it’s retailing for (sold separately; £10 for the top, £10 for the bottoms). If you prefer a lighter style of pyjamas, the print is also available on a camisole top for £6.
Even better, they’re a great dupe for British designer Olivia von Halle’s silk pyjamas, specifically the discontinued Lila set (below). They retailed for an eye-watering £460, which relegated them firmly to the dream nightwear wardrobe in our minds.
Olivia von Halle can count many a celebrity fan, including Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Oprah and Amanda Holden, who caused a storm on Instagram when she posed in her silk zebra print PJs from the brand back in March 2020.
If you like a taste of celebrity style without the heavy-duty price tag, this ‘Primark Olivia von Halle dupe pyjama set’ is your ticket to exactly that. Shoppers were quick to comment on them on Instagram, saying: ‘I need these to change into the moment I step foot back home,’ while another wrote, ‘Need these! Such a gorgeous print.’
As always, you’ll need to head to your local Primark store to snap up the ‘Primark Olivia von Halle dupe pyjamas’ – and hurry before they’re gone!
