Novelty Easter eggs have taken over the chocolate-fuelled holiday in recent years – from Waitrose’s illusion ‘eggs’ shaped like lemons and pomegranates to M&S’s giant chocolate Percy Pig and adorable sausage dog named Walter. No longer will a traditionally egg-shaped chocolate treat do, it seems (although we wouldn’t say no to this one studded with actual Reese’s Pieces).
