Experts from used SEM Rush to reveal where in the UK people are most searching online for and the results might surprise you with London left out of the top ten.

That’s right, the UK’s most searched city was actually York with 104 searches a month per 100 people. Famed for York Minster and St Mary’s Abbey as well as The Shambles, cobbled streets that inspired the Harry Potter’s series, the North-Eastern city received a total of 168,980 Google searches and 96,560 monthly searches specifically for ‘hotels in York’.
