Hands up if you love a jumpsuit? That’ll be all of us then. The boiler suit trend has been creeping up on us all for several seasons now, and this spring there’s even more options on the high street than ever before – like Kate Garraway‘s latest H&M look, for instance.
Kate, 51, donned the cornflower blue jumpsuit for an appearance on Good Morning Britain, styled by ITV’s go-to fashion guru Debbie Harper. Teamed with a pair of contrasting red pumps, her outfit looked effortlessly stylish, and the good news is that it’s affordable enough for us to copy.
The ankle-length jumpsuit, which features a flattering tie-waist belt, utility-inspired chest pockets and a shirt-style collar, is available online and in-store at H&M for just £34.99, and comes in sizes 4-22.
If you prefer a petite fit, there’s also an option on the listing to be notified when a shorter version comes into stock, although the sizing is more limited, and only goes up to a 14.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine last year about her fashion rules, Kate said that the one philosophy she’d always abided by was comfort.
‘I’ve had a lot of mistakes,’ she admitted, ‘but I think generally if you feel comfortable, like physically comfortable, you’re not squeezed in too tight or panicking about things falling out or falling over, then you generally feel good and then you look good. Wear what makes you feel great.’
The jumpsuit certainly ticks all of these boxes – and she’s not the only TV star to wow us with beautiful blue casual wear this week. On yesterday’s show, Lorraine Kelly showed off a stunning shirt dress with contrasting black buttons from Monsoon, which was once again reasonably priced at just £65. Anyone else feel a high-street shopping spree coming on?
