Earlier this week, Holly Willoughby confirmed that we’ll all be wearing prairie dresses again this season – but it’s not the only trend she’s been showing off on screen of late.
On today’s edition of This Morning (Thursday 6 February), Holly showcased the oversized lace collar, a look that’s been spotted on the catwalks of brands like Chanel and Ganni.
However, in a stroke of luck for those of us whose budgets don’t quite stretch to designer, Holly’s version is from everyone’s favourite high street hero Zara, and costs an extremely reasonable £25.99.
The black sweater has ribbed cuffs and a round neckline tucked under the contrasting crochet-inspired collar and a tied bow front.
Holly partnered hers with a pair of tailored trousers from 31PhilipLim, where prices start in the hundreds, but you could substitute any well-fitting pair of trousers you already have hanging in your wardrobe, or even your go-to smart black or indigo jeans.
Viewers on Instagram were just as obsessed with the top as we now are, with one commenting: ‘very tempted to get this top’, and another agreeing: ‘oooh I love that and from Zara too!’
A third said that it was their ‘favourite look this week’, while others deemed the outfit fabulous, beautiful and stunning, saying that they were ‘running to Zara’ to snap up the affordable style.
At the time of writing, the knit is still in stock on the Zara website in sizes S to L, but judging from the online reaction, it’s not likely to stay that way.
