If you don’t own that infamous Zara dress that has taken over the summer, then you definitely know a person who does – if not a few.
The white polka dot midi has quite literally been the talk of every town across the country for the past two months and even has an entire Instagram page (with 18.8k followers) dedicated to it. But what if we told you that there was a new and improved version?
Yes, the Spanish retailer has launched a black version of the popular summer frock and we have to say, it’s even better than the original.
The new colourway is yet another sign that the frenzy surrounding the dress won’t be stopping anytime soon and may very well continue into the autumn season. The new black version is not only much more chic, but more wearable than the original. Plus, the darker shade is perfectly fit for the upcoming cooler months.
However, there is one downside to the news – the dress is only available in Zara Australia at the moment, according to Grazia. But we’re crossing everything that it’ll be made available in our local Zara store soon – given the huge success of the white version in the UK, the brand would be completely missing a trick not to launch the black dress here too.
In the meantime, have you seen the other Zara dress going viral on Instagram?
The Asymmetric Poplin Dress, which is priced at just £29.99 (£10 less than its polka dot predecessor), features a number of on-trend details, including pleats, a tiered skirt, oversized sleeves and a pretty bow fastening on the back.
And although wearing top-to-toe white might seem intimidating, the floaty style is perfect for the British summer time, and will make a chic addition to your next holiday suitcase, too. Plus, it is a lot more subtle than ‘the‘ dress.
