When it comes to buying furniture, Aldi might not be the first place you think to look, but we’re here to tell you otherwise. The budget supermarket – famous for its Specialbuys – has been on a roll with its furniture releases lately, managing to span both affordability and style.
Before now, there’s been the highly covetable velvet upholstered scallop chairs that always sell out quickly whenever a new release drops online, which they then followed up with a range of beds in the same style.
And now, Aldi is cashing in on the popular rattan homeware trend with a range of extremely stylish Aldi rattan furniture. Rattan has been having a moment for a while now – the rustic material lends a softer, natural edge to modern interiors (and plays into the current 70s trend) and has been popping up on high street and high end homeware ranges everywhere.
The range includes double and king size beds, which feature rattan on the headboard with a pale wooden bed frame. The double bed costs £149.99 (and will be available soon), while the king size costs £179.99 (available now), both of which make for great value beds.
Aldi says: ‘Rustic yet sophisticated, add this stunning Kirkton House Rattan King Size Bed to your bedroom for a natural feel at bedtime. With a fabulous headboard and sturdy frame, you’ll be looking forward to bedtime every night with this natural looking bed.’
To complete the look, there’s also a matching rattan bedside table for £44.99 (available soon). Storage-wise, there’s also a matching wardrobe (£129.99) and three-layer chest of drawers (£99.99) with four drawers.
Still wanting for more? There’s even a rattan dressing table and stool set coming soon for £99.99. All of the Aldi rattan furniture pieces are available exclusively online and quite frankly, you’ll have to excuse us while we go and throw out all of our existing furniture to make way for these stunning affordable buys.
