These sell-out Zara boots are set to be the It shoes of autumn already

While we hate the thought of summer ending, we have to admit that we are just a little excited for all the chic fashion ahead as we approach the autumn/winter season.

Sure, we still have a little while left until we’re swapping out our midi dresses for knitwear, but it looks like high street retailers have already rolled out some of their key staple A/W 19 pieces, and we’re loving it. In fact, there’s one particular pair of boots that has caught our eye, and from the looks of the stock levels, we’re not the only ones.

Zara lace-up boots

Zara just dropped a trendy pair of ankle boots that have almost completely sold out within days of launching.

The lace-up heeled leather boots come in two colours: powder blue and cream. The are priced at £95.99 and are part of the Spanish retailer’s new autumn drop. However, they have proven to be so popular that they have already sold out in all sizes except a size 3. Talk about an instant hit!

The boots, which can be styled with anything from a pair of wide leg jeans to a gorgeous midi, are predicted to be the retailer’s hottest footwear for the news season, and if their debut week is anything to go by, that prediction is right on the money.

Of course, the reception that means that it’s very likely Zara will be restocking the line – they may even expand the colour way. We could totally imagine them in black or even a burgundy shade for a more classic cold-weather take.

The shoes are a high-street version of this season’s Victorian shoe trend, which according to digital fashion bible, Who What Wear, is set to be the ‘it’ design of the rest of the year. Their experts even dubbed the Zara pair ‘hero shoes’, and fashion editors across the industry seem to agree.

As stated on the Zara website, the boots feature a soft leather upper, laces on the front, lined wide flat heels, square toes and zip fastening on the inside.

If you’re a size three, we’d suggest you secure yours now. The rest of us will have to wait patiently for a restock.
