One of our favourite things about the autumn season is, of course, all of the fashion updates – from layering and knitwear to cosy coats and hats.
But this year, one cult A/W item became an instant hit ahead of the game by selling out during the summer: Zara’s trendy lace-up ankle boots.
The retailer, who has a flare for creating cult products that everyone wants to get their hands on, first launched its lace-up heeled leather boots in two colours: powder blue and cream.
Priced at £95.99, the colourways sold out almost immediately at the time of launch despite the fact the temperatures outside were still soaring, but now, the original hues are back in selected sizes, plus Zara has added the option of a seasonally-appropriate dark brown. And yes, you can still get your hands on them if you move quickly.
The boots, which can be styled with anything from a pair of wide leg jeans to a gorgeous midi, are the retailer’s hottest footwear of the season, and if their debut is anything to go by, this restock is set to be an even bigger success for Zara.
The shoes are a high-street version of this season’s Victorian shoe trend, which according to digital fashion bible, Who What Wear, is set to be the It design of the rest of the year. Their experts even dubbed the Zara pair ‘hero shoes’, and fashion editors across the industry seem to agree.
As stated on the Zara website, the chocolate-hued boots feature a soft leather upper, laces on the front, lined wide flat heels, square toes and zip fastening on the inside.
We’d highly advise that you run to get your order in now before the stock disappears once again…
