Actress and fashion icon Chloe Sevigny has joined forces with ZARA Home to launch a cinematic campaign showcasing this season’s home collection. ‘The Last Line’, a short film written and directed by Fabien Baron, serves as the heart of the campaign and the focal point for the season’s storytelling.
ZARA Home has certainly embraced the creative process this season, with ‘The Last Line’ showing Sevigny at home in Jose Marques da Silva’s art deco masterpiece, Case de Serralves located in Porto, Portugal. A dynamic performance is displayed by Sevigny over the course of a weekend and ZARA Home’s new collection naturally embeds itself into the film.
The objects are the catalysts that inspire and shape Sevigny’s acting exploration. A film that communicates the transportive power of a well-appointed home to evoke the many powerful and poignant moments in life.
The new pieces that ZARA Home showcases are elegant and minimal, sophisticated and timeless, all beautifully dressing up the bright spaces of the Casa de Serralves with textiles of soft textures and subtle, feminine tones completing the main decor.
With a huge entrance hall, you are welcomed into the intense universe of the protagonist, strong and fragile at the same time. Let’s accompany Chloe on her day to day at home with the objects in this collection. Woven placemats, white ceramic plates, classic flatware and crystalline glasses cover a dramatic but sophisticated lunch setting in a quiet dining room.
Moving into the bedroom, an overall grey and taupe linen look (including bedding and a headboard), with a circle mirror and long curtains, everything contributes to the creation of that atmosphere of intense fragility.
Last but certainly not least, the glamorous living room space. A powerful decorative proposal surrounds the actress, olive and beige linens dress the sofa that rests over a soft wool white rug and a collection of assorted ceramic vases and candies complete the overall look.
