This Yrsa Daley-Ward x H&M collection is dreamy loungewear at its finest

By now, our WFH wardrobes are a steady rotation of comfortable loungewear: leggings, sweatshirts, joggers and T-shirts on repeat, over and over. So if it’s all we’re wearing right now, we may as well make it as chic as can be.

Enter: H&M’s collaboration with poet Yrsa Daley-Ward.

Yrsa rose to fame on Instagram, her powerful, poignant words penetrating the social media feeds of her now 189 thousand followers. So it was rather savvy of H&M to tap Yrsa for a loungewear collaboration. The result is a small collection of oversized sweatshirts, hoodies and tees simply adorned with the Daley-Ward’s poetry.

Made from super soft organic and/or recycled cotton, the colour palette is muted: mainly soft greige, off-white and sage green. Each piece bears a line of Yrsa’s poetry, for instance the T-shirt reads: ‘There will always be your heart’, while one of the sweatshirts says: ‘If you have to fold to fit in it ain’t right.’

The Yrsa Daley-Ward x H&M pieces are perfect for wearing with a wider collection of similar pieces in a matching colour palette also currently available at H&M, consisting of jersey shorts, vest tops, sweatpants and leggings. Together it makes for the ultimate capsule loungewear wardrobe – we can see ourselves spending most future Sundays (and Mondays, Tuesdays etc…) in this get-up.

Prices start from just £12.99 for the T-shirt and go up to £17.99 for the sweatshirts and hoodie, meaning the pieces are as affordable as they are covetable.
