Asda’s diffuser looks just like The White Company’s £65 version

Do you love a beautifully-scented home? If so, an electronic diffuser could be just what you’re after- at the touch of a button, they fill the room with gorgeous fragrance, without the faff of room spray or the angst of worrying whether you’ll remember to blow a candle out.

A very popular option is The White Company’s electronic diffuser, which features a simple but beautiful ceramic design. It has four time settings, so you can choose how long your diffuser will release scent for: 180 minutes, 120 minutes or 60 minutes. The diffuser automatically shuts off at the end of each time set.

While it certainly looks lovely, and has plenty of five-star reviews, at £65, The White Company diffuser may feel like too much of a stretch for many people. That’s why we were thrilled to spot a great The White Company diffuser dupe from Asda.

The budget-friendly supermarket has come up with an electronic diffuser that shares a very similar sleek white design and wood-effect base with The White Company’s version. You can also choose between different timer settings. However, this one costs just £18, which is a big saving of £47 on the more high-end option.

Of course, there are differences – if we’re being picky, then Asda’s diffuser looks a little more plasticky than the products it’s inspired by, but that hasn’t stopped the cheaper version getting plenty of strong reviews online.

‘Bought for a Christmas present for a friend, she loves it and says it looks just like the one at The White Company that is £65. Great quality and value’ said one reviewer. ‘Really pleased with my purchase I love it and it smells gorgeous’ said another.

Others also suggested using White Company oils within the Asda diffuser, in order to get the best scent. Smart idea!
