Be still our beating hearts – Christmas is truly on the way. Okay, well actually it’s still two months away, but Costa Coffee has announced its full food and drink menu for the 2021 festive season, and we already have our eyes set on a Toffee Penny Latte.
Costa Coffee Christmas drinks
The new Christmas menu, which will be available from November 3rd 2021, includes plenty of festive coffee and hot chocolate options. After its popularity last year, the Quality Street ‘The Purple One’ latte returns, alongside a new Quality Street Toffee Penny offering.
If hot chocolate is more your vibe, choose between the After Eight or Terry’s Chocolate Orange versions. Even those handy Costa Express coffee machines are getting in on the action, pumping out Quality Street ‘The Purple One’ hot chocolates across the nation. It’s everything our sugar-obsessed hearts could desire.
Costa Coffee Christmas food
Planning to make more of a meal of things? Let us introduce you to Costa’s Christmas savoury selection. First up, the bacon mac & cheese toastie, which is basically macaroni cheese pasta and bacon sandwiched between two bits of cheesy toasted bread.
Pigs in blankets fans will be pleased, as there’s a pigs & blankets mac and cheese, pigs under blankets stonebaked panini and maple-glazed pigs in blankets potato chips.
There’s also going to be a turkey and the trimmings toastie, turkey feast sandwich, festive pork and bramley apple sausage roll and maple bacon, brie and cranberry panini. For vegans, there’s the ‘vegan turkee’ cranberry and stuffing bloomer toastie.
On the sweet side, you can go classic with a selection of mince pies and tarts (including gluten-free) or go very Insta-friendly with a chocolate sparkle cake or winter frosted marble cake.
There’s also some seriously cute festive bakes, including a vegan Father Christmas gingerbread, Rudolph shortcake, and crispy chocolate stars. There is also a new rocky read with Aero peppermint bubbles.
We need a lie down.
