Sarah Jessica Parker has been using this moisturiser since 2008

If there’s one thing we can rely on celebrities for, it’s excellent beauty tips – especially when it comes to skincare. And one A-lister in particular has been using the same moisturiser on her glowing skin for almost a decade now, and it only costs £17.50.

That’s right, Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is an avid user of the famous La Roche-Posay’s Toleriane Fluid – a moisturiser that is also loved by TV presenter Rochelle Humes.

In an interview with British Vogue back in 2016, SJP revealed that she had been using the product for eight-years straight. ‘I am not really a products person but I’ve been wearing the same moisturiser for the last eight years – it’s La Roche-Posay’s Toleriane Fluid,’ she said. ‘I like it because it’s like water and it’s really good, plus I can’t wear moisturiser with fragrance in it and it doesn’t have that.’

Instead, the product is enriched with neurosensine, shea butter, glycerin, starch and Thermal Spring Water to immediately soothe irritated skin. It is also 100% hypoallergenic and promises not to block pores. ‘So how do you use it?’ I hear you ask. It’s pretty simple. You just apply the moisturiser over your face and neck, once every morning and night.

La Roche-Posay’s Toleriane Fluid has been praised for it’s hydrating powers. Speaking to the Telegraph earlier this summer in June, fellow fan Rochelle Humes said: ‘This stuff is like a drink for your skin. I use a huge amount morning and night, with several reapplications during the day. I swear by it. It’s the only moisturiser I’ve used for many years.’

If both SJP and Rochelle are advocates, it must be as amazing as it sounds. Especially since SJP also revealed in her interview that she isn’t exactly, well, a beauty junkie. ‘I’ll wear any lip balm at night that’s free, came in a gift bag, from a travel bag… And I wear sunscreen, but I wear Neutrogena or Coppertone – just what’s available at the drugstore is what I wear.’

We love her laid-back approach.
