If you haven’t already thought about treating yourself to an autumn city break this year, then this latest news will certainly have you planning one. Ryanair has just announced a huge mid-season sale, with flights for as little as £5.99.
That’s right, you can now book yourself a one-way ticket to a European city for the same price as your daily lunch at Pret. Sound too good to be true? Well, it isn’t.
The budget airline announced that major sale on Wednesday 2 October, revealing that they had millions of seats up for grabs for a bargain price. We’re talking flights to popular French destinations like Biarritz, Nimes, Toulouse and Perpignan, as well as Italian capital Milan, Pisa, Porto in Portugal, Rhodes and even Scandi haven, Copenhagen – all for £9.99 or less.
Frankly, it almost feels wrong not to make the most of the deals.
Of course, the price of the reduced flights will depend on where you are travelling from, but the airline has made the offers available across the country, with many of the flights departing from London airports as well as Manchester, Bristol, Belfast and the East Midlands.
The giant sale is in honour of Ryanair’s milestone of carrying 150 million passengers in just 12 months. All the flights on offer are available between October this year and May next year, so you could even plan ahead and book yourself a nice getaway for Spring 2020. However, you have to move fast because the sale ends at midnight on Sunday 6 October.
The airline has also announced 14 new routes, including London Stansted to Terceira, Portugal as well as Romania and Slovakia. Meanwhile Manchester airport will soon offer Ryanair flights to Pisa and Edinburgh passengers can finally head to Poland directly.
