An insider says this is the key to getting the best clothes from M&S

We can all use a little extra hand when it comes to shopping the latest must-haves on the high street – especially when we enter a new season and all the new product drops can be slightly overwhelming.

Accessories have the power to transform a simple outfit into a unique look, deliver a hit of personality and breathe freshness into tried-and-trusted outfits. So don't forget to add, add, add! I'm loving this lemon clutch RN. To me it's just neutral enough, so adds a beautiful burst of colour without being all 'jazz hands' about it. And while it looks great fun with denim, it would also work at a super-stylish summer wedding paired with a classic dress. 💛 (Clutch: T011458, blazer: T593029, top: T434267, jeans: T571802, similar shoes: T022247, necklace: T063914)⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ #marksandspencer #mymarks #accessories #clutchbags #lemonaccessories #yellowaccessories #yellowaccents #OOTD #WIWT #igfashion #ad

And of course, all the best things tend to get snapped up almost immediately making it even harder to get your hands on the hottest trends of the moment. But what if you had an inside source at your favourite retailer to advise you on the best shopping methods and help you secure the best looks? Well, we’ve got just that.

Rachel Sullivan, head of content at high street favourite Marks & Spencer recently revealed an excellent hack for shoppers to ensure they get the best items the brand has to offer.

Speaking to Who What Wear, Rachel, who also runs her own Instagram account dedicated to showcasing and styling the chicest offerings from M&S under @marksandspencer_rachel, said: ‘Keep checking the ‘new-in’ and ‘style and living’ section of the M&S website – this is where you’ll find the gems.

‘Don’t forget that you can order any time up to 10pm and pick it up in your nearest M&S store the next day – even at a Simply Food!’ Yes that’s right – even if there’s not a fashion store near you, you can still get the goods. Who knew?!

Hey there sunset-orange dress of dreams. 👋 But actually the real hero of this outfit is the jacket. Denim jackets really do make the perfect summer layer. When blazers feel too structured, leather too heavy and trench coats too long, in steps the ever-useful denim jacket. We've got them in a ton of different colours from a mellow mint green to edgier indigo. Sadly there aren't many of this white left, but to let you in on a small secret, my actual favourite is the light denim version – to me it gives a more boho-summer hippy vibe and it's a little more forgiving than white. 😉 (Jacket: T494225, dress: T427118, shoes: T024383B, bag: T019215)⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ #marksandspencer #mymarks #denim #stylestaples #styleessentials #summerstyle #weekendstyle #mumstyle #WIWT #OOTD #igfashion #ad

So with that in mind, what is the biggest thing we should be looking to Marks & Spencer for this summer? You may have already guessed it but, of course, it’s the dresses. If there’s one thing the retailer nails consistently, it’s a midi – well, it is occasionwear season after all…

‘Our dresses are having a real moment,’ Rachel told the publication. ‘Whether you’re looking for bold animal prints or something a bit more sleek and chic, it’s all there. There’s a particular white broderie anglaise floaty dress that arrived in March that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on.’
