Primark has duped Victoria’s Secret’s iconic pyjamas for £61 cheaper

With Valentine’s Day coming up, there’s never been a better time to buy some new pyjamas. As 14 February looms, retailers tend to up the ante on their nightwear selections, resulting in a wealth of pretty and luxe-looking options on offer right now.

Case in point: Primark, which has just released some extremely cute pink stripe satin pyjama sets – and we can’t help but feel we’ve seen them somewhere else before…

Eagle-eyed shoppers have noticed they look just like Victoria’s Secret’s iconic pink satin pyjamas. With the same classic light and dark pink pinstripe design, Primark’s versions start at just £8, making them £61 cheaper than Victoria’s Secret’s original pyjamas.

Victoria’s Secret offers its classic pink nightwear design in a long-sleeved and long trousers set and a short-sleeved top and shorts set. Primark has also produced two styles for shoppers to choose from: a short sleeve button-up top and long trousers combo or a long-sleeved, oversized nightshirt. Both are made from a soft satin material for ultimate levels of comfort – although of course one difference is that the Primark pyjamas don’t carry VS’s black piping on the cuffs and edges, resulting in a simpler, pared back design.

Primark’s post has racked up over 17,000 likes on Instagram already, with shoppers quick off the mark to notice the similarities: ‘Look like the Victoria secret ones,’ wrote one keen-eyed Primark fan in the comments; ‘These look like Victoria Secret pjs,’ noted another.

Others were just keen to share how much they loved them, with comments such as ‘j’adore,’ ‘these are cute,’ and ‘Beautiful!!’ flooding the post.

As with all things Primark, you’ll have to head to your closest store to find the pyjamas and get them for yourself.

No strangers to the dupe, Primark is often coming up with designer-inspired buys, so if you miss out on the Primark pyjamas this time round there will be plenty more opportunities in the future to buy into their budget-friendly luxe-looking products.
