Primark is always serving up affordable stylish buys, whether that’s the brand’s recent 14k gold-plated and semi-precious stone jewellery collection, starting at £6, or its bestselling £3.50 seamless basics.
It’s no secret that the team at Primark are often inspired by the designer brands, as we’ve spotted some great designer dupes at Primark on more than one occasion – take, for example, the summer range that looked just like Ganni or the £20 pyjamas that are the perfect dupe of Olivia von Halle’s £460 silk ones.
Lately, we’ve stumbled across two more Primark designer-inspired fashion pieces that cost a fraction of the price of their big-name counterparts.
First up, we spotted a pair of black faux leather chunky heeled loafers that definitely have more than an air of Gucci about them. Perhaps influenced by the recently released film, House of Gucci, the shape is very similar to a current pair of heels being sold by the Italian fashion house. Where Gucci’s pair bears a gold double G, Primark’s feature another classic Gucci motif, the horsebit.
Then we chanced upon a Primark handbag which looks heavily inspired by Paco Rabanne’s Chainmail Pixel Tote Bag.
Both feature on-trend chainmail-style detailing with silver large-link chain handles – the difference being that Paco Rabanne’s will set you back £620, whereas Primark’s costs a pretty £8.
Of course, you can’t purchase any of Primark’s items online, so you will need to head to your nearest store to get your hands on some of these Primark designer-inspired fashion pieces. With party season upon us, it’s the perfect time to add some new pieces to your wardrobe – the diamanté bag in particular is a party-season hit, while the shoes will bring a touch of House of Gucci to your outfit.
