This is what’s predicted to sell out at Primark now stores have reopened

England’s national lockdown is over (hoorah!), which means, among other things, that Primark stores are officially open once more (double hoorah!).

One of very few high street retailers you can’t order from online, the first day of the (slightly) relaxed restrictions saw queues snaking around the block for Primark stores across the country. Primark has even announced that some of their flagship stores will be open 24 hours a day – if a 4am shopping trip sounds remotely appealing to you, then go forth to Primark!

Of course, you can also shop at more regular hours too, so to help you streamline your shopping experience, we’ve got a list of the 16 new-in items that Primark are predicting to become instant bestsellers.

A Primark spokesperson said: ‘We are delighted to re-open our stores in England, with longer shopping hours to give our customers more time to safely do their festive shopping. We have seen strong demand for pyjamas, loungewear, festive gifts and kidswear and top sellers have included festive famjams, Christmas decorations and jogging pants.’

Naturally, there’s a lot of chunky knitwear in neutral tones, with this season’s breakout star, the knitted vest top, featuring heavily. Outerwear is, of course, another must for this season, and Primark has on offer a few clean-cut coats (that we’d say look far more expensive than they are). For statement-making, look no further than the red tartan blazer and trouser set, as seen on TV and radio presenter Annaliese Dayes (above).
