The Primark bar cart of dreams is back for autumn 2020 – and it’s only £35

Any hostess with the mostess knows that a good home bar supply is an essential when you’re entertaining – which is why the Primark bar cart which launched as part of the retailer’s A/W 19 homeware collection was such a success.

The item quickly sold out after going viral for its amazing aesthetic, and the fact that it costs just £30 – but if you missed the original, there’s good news, as there’s another brand new Primark bar cart on the horizon this year.

The first time around, the impressively affordable bar cart had such high demand that the brand released a list of stores that were stocking it, and advice to call ahead to check that it was still in stock – and for the new version, the race to snap one up is set to be just as quick.

The original gold circular bar cart has also earned praise for its similarity to a model by Oliver Bonas, except the high end retailer’s version comes with a heftier price of £395. The upgraded model for autumn 2020 bears a striking resemblance to a similar £299 bar cart from Swoon Editions, once again giving you the luxury homeware look for much less.

What’s more, the launch of the new offering comes alongside a range of coordinating gold accessories, including a wine bucket and cocktail kit to take your DIY mixology to the next level.

The only slight downside? Only a very limited number of branches will have the bar cart available:

  • London Oxford Street
  • Manchester Market Street
  • Birmingham High Street
  • Liverpool
  • Glasgow Argyle St
  • Cardiff (currently closed in line with government guidance)
  • Newcastle
  • Bristol
  • Coventry

However with at-home entertaining very high on the agenda this year, we still predict a(nother) sellout. If you plan to make a pilgrimage, it’s worth checking with your local in advance to make sure everyone else hasn’t beaten you to it already…
