If your go-to present for a loved one is a box of Ferrero Rocher, 2018 just officially became the year that you upgrade your gifting game. The premium chocolate maker has announced the launch of its first ever personalisation stations, allowing shoppers to inscribe an individual name or message onto an oversized version of the treat.
The pop-up service is available on the Grand Ferrero Rocher, a 125g ‘unique and special taste experience of contrasting layers’, which features a milk chocolate and hazelnut shell with two Ferrero Rocher inside (essentially, any Ferrero fans’ dream come true).
For £8.50, you can add a sweet note to your recipient, and top the whole package off with gift wrapping and a big red bow. It’s ideal as a Secret Santa surprise, a tasty stocking stuffer, or simply for leaving under the tree come 25 December.
And if you’re in a hurry? You can also find pre-printed Grand Ferrero Rocher products with messages such as ‘Merry Christmas’, ‘Congratulations’, ‘Thank You’, ‘I Love You’ and ‘Darling’, online and in all Harvey Nichols stores – grab the one that fits the occasion, and you’re good to go.
Harvey Nichols and Ferrero Rocher aren’t the only duo to team up for a unique Christmas present experience this year – back in September, John Lewis unveiled a high-street first with their Quality Street pick and mix, where customers could get their hands on bespoke sweets and tins, and Quality Street is also offering personalised tins at 55 different Sainsbury’s stores across the country.
So, no matter which Christmas chocolate is the most popular in your household, you can make it even more special for 2018. That is, if you manage not to scoff it all yourself first.
The Grand Rocher personalisation service is now available in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge Fifth Floor Foodmarket and on the Second Floor Foodmarket in Manchester, until Sunday 30th December 2018.
