Nicole Kidman has revealed the £13 must-have product she can’t live without

Nicole Kidman is one of the most esteemed actresses of our time, and she’s also one of the most photographed. And in every picture taken of her, her skin looks absolutely flawless. So when Nicole revealed in a recent interview with Allure that the secret to her complexion is an SPF for under £15, we all jumped for joy.

The star told the title that her biggest priority is wearing SPF these days, and the one she always reaches for is Neutrogena’s SPF 100+. ‘I used to be like, “All those creams, who cares?” But definitely as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realised those creams are necessary. I’m shooting outdoors a lot, so the most important thing is the sunscreen,’ Nicole, who is a spokesperson for the brand, explained. ‘I reapply every 90 minutes, every single day.’

While using such a high SPF may seem extreme, it actually could be worth it. A recent study found that SPF 100 is 11 times more effective at preventing sunburn than SPF 50, the previous highest number on the market.

But fear not, because while Nicole’s chosen SPF isn’t widely available in stores in the UK, it can be bought online for a mere £13.18 on Amazon. So if SPF 50 no longer seems sufficient, you can easily get your hands on the serious stuff.

Unsurprisingly, Nicole’s other skin tip is to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, and it’s something she has learned from her husband Keith Urban; ‘What my husband taught me is water, water, water,’ she told the publication.

‘We drink so much water. I didn’t realise how important it was to hydrate and flush out. But because he’s a singer, that’s part of his routine. They know that they have to drink and that it helps the chords, but it also helps the skin; it helps all the organs. It keeps you healthy.’

Well, there you have it: if you want beautiful skin, SPF and water are the way forward.
