With Christmas and New Year well behind us now, our attention is turning to the upcoming change in the seasons. But transeasonal dressing can be tough; from layering up when it’s still cold to getting the right vibe print-wise, it’s a bit of a minefield, and even the royals get it wrong with the weather sometimes….
However, things look like they might just become a little easier with the appearance of Marks and Spencer’s newest cult floral dress, which will see you right through to spring in style. The printed number is not only ideal for the upcoming chilly months of January and February when layered with coats and boots, but it’ll also look great when the warmer weather rolls in; whip off your tights and stick on a strappy sandal or loafer, and you’ll be good to go.
The pretty green, white, and purple piece is part of the store’s new drop for 2020, proving that the trend for long-sleeve midi dresses is going nowhere.
It’s currently available online in all sizes, from 6 to 24, and if you’re tall, there’s good news, as its available in both regular and long lengths.
The elegant piece features a high neck and a cinched in elastic waist detail to flatter all body types. It also has a keyhole fastening at the back, and elasticised cuffs. And best of all, the dress will only set you back a mere £39.50, which in our opinion, is a small price to pay considering all the wear you’ll get out of it.
If this new addition looks a little familiar, it may be because the brand put out a similar version last year, in a cream and blue colour way. Holly Willoughby was a fan, and showed off the dress as her role as brand ambassador, which unsurprisingly made it a hit.
But even without the star’s endorsement, we predict the same will be said of this new version, which is sure to be a sell-out. Get in there quick!
