Back in May, Marks & Spencer stores were still open, but with only a limited amount of floor space, most of which was dedicated to its food halls. So the savvy team at the high street stalwart came up with a clever idea to get us back and browsing their fashion lines from the comfort of our homes: the M&S Rainbow Sale.
Running both on the website and in shops where clothing wass still available, the initiative gave us the chance to snap up some of the unsold spring summer stock from M&S that’s been left on the rails as our retail habits change as a result of the pandemic, and the discounts were seriously incredible. Absolutely everything included has at least 50 per cent off, with many items selling for less than half of their RRP.
As for where the ‘rainbow’ comes from? M&S put a charitable spin on its already generous offer, and will be donating 10 per cent of the purchase price of all Rainbow Sale items to NHS Charities Together.
Naturally, with an offer this good, demand was high, with many styles selling out almost overnight. But now high street stores are able to trade again, M&S has updated the Rainbow Sale by adding dozens of new lines which are equally worthy of your attention.
Here’s our pick of some of the best bits to add to your basket – move quickly, they’re too good to miss!
