Whenever a royal announces an engagement, we’re always interested to have a good snoop at the ring. What shape will it be? What colour? And, let’s be honest, we want to ogle at how big the rock is. Now, new research has revealed who has the most popular royal engagement ring, and it’s not the Queen, Princess Diana or Kate Middleton, as you might expect.
It turns out the most Googled royal engagement ring belongs to Meghan Markle. According to research by creative resource Design Bundles, the Duchess of Sussex’s ring gets 20,000Â average searches per month.

Meghan’s ring was designed by Prince Harry himself and cost an estimated £100,000. The six-carat sparkler features a central diamond from Botswana and two smaller diamonds from Princess Diana’s own collection.
The Duchess of Cambridge‘s engagement ring is the second most popular. Kate was given a 12-carat oval blue sapphire with a halo of diamonds, which famously belonged to Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana. The ring pulls in around 8,200 searches a month.

So who else joined the Duchesses on the list?
