British fashion designer has one of the most enviable address books around. Not only was her wedding (to oil heir Mikey Hess) attended by the likes of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, Karlie Kloss, Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Misha is rumoured to be the one who set the Duke and Duchess of Sussex up on their blind date.
VIP friends aside, she’s also a big name in the fashion industry. Arriving on the scene five years ago, Misha made a name for herself by launching her on-demand manufacturing model, eliminating inventory waste (the largest source of pollution in the industry) by 90 per cent.
Now, Misha has taken her timeless, modular fashion sense in a mostly monochrome palette one step further, by curating ten pieces to create the perfect capsule collection. The result? A season-less, streamlined and more sustainable wardrobe, capitalising on the ‘buy better, wear longer’ approach to fashion.
For the ten-piece collection – entitled ‘The Perfect 10’ – Misha Nonoo and her tea spoke to women they admire about their wardrobe essentials that have seen them through COVID’s Zoom meetings and socially-distanced catch-ups, and the pieces that are taking them through 2021.
As a result, the items are versatile and designed to be mixed, matched and layered, including loose ‘husband’ shirts, everyday knitwear, flattering tailored trousers and, of course, new matching loungewear. Basically, everything the multi-faceted woman needs to carry her from 9am to 9pm.
