Meghan Markle cemented her status as a trendsetter long ago thanks to her stylish wardrobe and consistently chic, contemporary takes on the traditional royal dress code. So it’s only natural that we’re always keen to replicate her looks whenever and however we can.
However, The Duchess of Sussex does love her designer labels, which sometimes makes it difficult for the masses to recreate her style. But luckily, some of our trusted high street retailers have begun adding a nod to some of Meghan’s most memorable outfits in their pieces for much more affordable price.
For example, one of our favourite looks from the royal was the Victoria Beckham dress she wore for an appearance at the Commonwealth Service back in March when she was heavily pregnant with little baby Archie Harrison.
The elegant summer dress became an instant hit with fans thanks to its quirky chain print design and even Victoria herself was spotted wearing the same dress a few months later as she attended a friend’s wedding in Spain, along with her trademark highlighter heels.
In fact, the dress became so popular that at the time Marks & Spencer created its own skirt version of it, with a similar print, for just £39.50 (a small fraction of the price tag accompanying the VB design).
And while seasons may have changed, it looks like the chain print is still going strong as Warehouse has just launched three new pieces with the popular VB-inspired design.
There’s a chain print shirt in white and a chain print skirt and skirt in black for you to shop ahead of any upcoming Christmas parties.
They’re in the new-in section on the Warehouse website and still in stock – for now, that is. Dress them up for the office, glam them up for your Christmas party or go casual for a weekend outing – either way, whatever you buy is set to be a Meghan Markle-approved look.
