As a member of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex is a woman of luxury and quite frankly, we love her for it. Her access to prestige designers and custom-made gowns has cemented her status as a royal fashion icon.
However, when it comes to beauty Meghan is known to mix it up, using both high end products and some purse-friendly high street buys – especially when it comes to skincare.
Rumour has it the royal mum-to-be is obsessed with Bioré Cleansing Cloths, which is priced at just £8.22. That’s right, even the duchess spends less than tenner on her cleanser.
According to an old but recently resurfaced interview with the blog Beauty Banter, Meghan revealed that she loves the cleansing cloths so much that she buys them in bulk.
‘They’re great to keep in the car and on your nightstand when you have those horribly lazy nights that the thought of getting up to actually wash your face seems unbearable,’ she said at the time. We’ve all been there, Meghan!
The Bioré cleansing cloths come in a pack of 60 and are available to buy on Amazon now. They have been hypoallergenic, dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested which means they are suitable for even those with sensitive skin.
The eco-friendly brand has also ensured that their cloths are made with 100 per cent renewable resources, so not only do they promise excellent results but they are environmentally friendly – no wonder Meghan loves them.
And she isn’t the only one, the cleansing cloths have received rave reviews on Amazon too, with customers giving it a five star rating.
‘I bought these to clean my face at night. I have always washed my face in the morning in the shower, but never had the motivation to do it before bed (I don’t wear makeup). Since I’ve started using these before bed my face looks and feels so much brighter and healthier,’ one reviewer wrote.
Similarly, another said: ‘I’ve used many brands of wet cleaning clothes over the years from drug store brands to high end brands like philosophy and the like, but these are my personal favourite. I keep them by my bedside – mainly because I’ve jumped in bed and realised I’ve forgotten to wash my face. These get the job done.’
