While we still have a little while to go, Easter is fast approaching, meaning our annual chocolate egg feast is right around the corner. This year, retailers have gone the extra mile by launching some impressive Easter eggs, both in terms of taste and design, ahead of the season so we can stock up on our favourites in good time – the latest being Marks and Spencer.
The brand has launched its new range of Easter eggs, with prices starting from just £1 and naturally, both Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpillar have starring roles. But there are also some equally delicious-looking new treats to try; t’s all very exciting.
The range consists of 12 different full-sized eggs alongside a host of treat bags and minis, including a new bunny tin filled with foiled milk chocolate farmyard characters, a hand-detailed pink chocolate flamingo and luxe-looking lattice eggs that won’t break the bank.
Some of our favourite eggs from the range are Seth the Sloth, an adorable new character we’ve fallen completely head-over-heels for, and M&S’s new Easter Sundae eggs – two milk chocolate eggs overflowing with small treats and finished with a chocolate straw.
The Jumbo Chocolate Button from the supermarket’s Christmas collection has also had an Easter makeover, topped with mini speckled eggs, and then there is of course, the Extremely Chocolatey Biscuit Egg, which transforms the chocolate rounds you know and love into a satisfyingly chunky, crunchy shell.
All the eggs are available to shop at Marks & Spencer now – here’s everything you need to know.
