It’s not every day you get to shop beauty products like you would your sushi, so when we heard that Lush (our favourite bath brand) had introduced cosmetic conveyor belts for Christmas, our levels of excitement went through the roof.
The high street brand has unveiled the new feature, which is often used in restaurants, most famously as a signature feature at Yo! Sushi, to make Christmas all the more magical for shoppers.
The brand is launching three Christmas concept stores in Liverpool, Birmingham, and on London’s Oxford Street, where the conveyor belts will be built and made up of festive bath bombs – all of which will be free of plastic packaging.
Instead, once you have selected the treats on the conveyor belt that you want to purchase, you will be able to have them wrapped in a Lush Knot Wrap – a reusable alternative to traditional wrapping paper which is made from organic cotton or recycled bottles. This means you can enjoy the festive fun whilst being mindful of the environment and reducing plastic waste.
The brand’s biggest (and therefore most hypnotic) conveyor belt is 14 metres long and has 106 Christmas bath products on revolve. In an ideal world we’d probably have one in our own bathrooms, but this is as close as we’ll get to that right now.
In case you missed it, Lush also unveiled an incredible range of Christmas-inspired products earlier this month. From festive soaps and Santa Claus bath bombs, to delicious smelling shower gels and reusable bubble bars, the launch includes an extensive range of products that will ensure you embrace the Christmas spirit.
In addition, there’s also the return of all of your favourite gift sets, and of course, everyone’s seasonal favourite, the Snow Fairy – not to mention Lush’s 2019 advent calendar.
