Your lottery ticket can get you free entry or discounts on 500 UK attractions next week

If ever there was a time to try your luck and enter the lottery, this is it. Not only will you get a chance to win big but next week, purchasing a ticket could also save you a lot of money in other ways.

To celebrate the 25th birthday of the National Lottery, over 500 attractions will give you free entry or discounts if you have a lottery ticket or scratchcard, which means that you can enjoy fun days out with friends and family this festive season for much less – and all while being in with a chance to hit the jackpot.

The offer includes trips to attractions that have all benefited from funding by the National Lottery and the special deal is a way of saying thank you to avid lottery players (and those of us who just want to buy one on this occasion) for actively playing a part in raising £30 million to good causes every week, according to Metro.

So, what exactly is included? Well for starters, the lottery ticket will get you free entry to the London Transport Museum as well as two for one entry to Kensington Palace and a free hot drink at the Science Museum, which is already free to enter for the public. But fear not, the perks are not just London-based.

The promotion also includes Eden Project in Cornwall, Cardiff Castle, Murrayfield Stadium and the Giant’s Causeway on the north coast of Northern Ireland, to name just a few outside of the capital.

In fact, to find the attractions closest to you, all you have to do is type in your postcode on the National Lottery website and all the nearest places taking part in the deal will pop up.

However, make sure you take your lottery ticket or scratchcard with you when visiting your attraction as this is what will grant you the complimentary entry or discounted prices from 23 November until 1 December.
