Trying to reduce your screen time on your iPhone this summer? That might be a slightly more difficult task than you anticipated, because Zara, the nation’s favourite high street store, has just launched a brand new Instagram account which is guaranteed to be any fashion lover’s next online obsession.
Living Zara is the latest account giving your go-to fashion influencers a run for their money by sharing the best styling tips and demonstrating how to wear some of Zara’s best offerings, often before you’ve even spotted them in store.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, a spokesperson for the Spanish retailer said: ‘The Living Zara Instagram account is a collaborative project between Zara and a handful of carefully chosen individuals who may be seen as interesting or inspiring within the industries that they operate.
‘Week by week the collaboration will see an individual or group of people take over the Instagram account where they will create their own content and share posts featuring the key items of their choice that will be available to shop directly from Instagram.’
The retailer has enlisted a group of different individuals to showcase their products on Instagram, all of whom have a background in fashion, arts, culture, music and architecture.
For example, the launch of Living Zara featured the likes of street-style royalty Reese (@double3xposure) and Molly Blustein (@accidentalinfluencer), a twin influencer duo, as well as Courtney Trop (@alwaysjudging) who is a Fashion Week regular.
And of course, the Instagram page is yet another way to shop your favourite looks in a much quicker and easier way. All you have to do is tap the screen when you come across a look you like and the items name and price will appear thanks to Instagram’s genius shopping feature. You then click on what you want and voila, you’ll be taken straight to the Zara website to proceed with your purchase.
As if we needed another excuse to add Zara clothing to our wardrobe…
