Laura Ashley and Urban Outfitters may be the last two brands you would expect a collaboration from but believe it or not, it’s happening. And it looks amazing.
The traditional British brand, which is known for its floral prints and feminine detail, recently got a complete modern revamp which includes a new range with American millennial street style favourite, Urban Outfitters. The new range consists of everything from skirts and dresses to co-ords and even swimsuits.
The new collection launched both online and in-stores over the bank holiday weekend, just in time to start shopping for your summer holidays or any upcoming weddings.
As always, you can expect to see the classic Laura Ashley florals on the designs but this time, they’ve been given a contemporary twist.
Standout piece include the Maisy Mock Neck Mini Dress, the Lucille Button-Front Peplum Blouse and matching biker shorts bottoms, and the dreamy Bella Lace Trim Maxi Dress, which is very reasonably priced at just £49.
The entire vintage-inspired capsule collection is priced between £29 and £89, meaning you won’t even have to spend a fortune to look chic and stylish all of summer 2019. Shoppers can also expect nothing but luxury organza and chiffon materials from the collection.
For those who aren’t familiar with Laura Ashley, the brand dates back to 1953 when it was launched selling Victorian headscarves. It later became widely popular after Princess Diana was spotted wearing the brand in 1981 and has been a pride of the British high street ever since.
Here’s to the next 66 years – hopefully with more designs like this!
