It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Duchess of Cambridge out and about on public engagements, but the past few weeks have marked her return to them, which means we can get back to what we love doing the most – spying Kate’s wardrobe.
It’s no secret the royal is a big fan of high street buys – she’s regularly seen out in M&S, Zara and Boden – and loves to support affordable small businesses – just last week she sported a pair of £59 earrings from All The Falling Stars. This week, the duchess has donned yet another affordable buy, this time in the form of her outerwear.
On a trip to visit the reopened RAF Air Cadets’ Windermere Training Centre in Cumbria, Kate ‘joined a group of Air Cadets to test the outdoor terrain’ wrote an Instagram post on the @dukeandduchessofcambridge account.
For the visit, Kate wore a quilted padded jacket from Seeland, a brand she’s worn before on multiple occasions. At £64, it’s definitely one of Kate’s more affordable wardrobe choices, meaning we can all copy her style without breaking the bank.
Of course, thanks to the ‘Kate effect’ (where everything the duchess wears immediately sells out), the jacket is already selling out at several online retailers, but we’ve found it to still be in stock on the Seeland website, Bushwear and Hollands Country Clothing.
Kate Middleton’s quilted jacket features a feminine cut and a synthetic lining that retains its insulation properties, even when wet. It comes supplied with a pouch to store the jacket away in, ‘making it easy to carry on long stalking expeditions or on a day’s outing in changeable weather.’
In case the jacket does sell out everywhere, we’ve also found 5 other jackets on the high street that are similar to Kate Middleton’s quilted jacket so we can all copy her enviable style.
