Kate Middleton’s favourite brand just launched a rental service

The Duchess of Cambridge has many a high street go-to for fashion – she’s regularly spotted in affordable picks from ZARA and M&S (which inevitably sell out almost immediately after she’s stepped out in them).

LK Bennett is another one of Kate’s favourite British high street haunts – although a little pricier than the aforementioned, the brand is the perfect place to find occasion dresses and ‘wear-forever’ investment pieces that have the stylish royal’s seal of approval.

But when dresses start at around £200, it can be hard to justify the purchase sometimes. LK Bennett understand that and want to make their clothing more accessible for all, which is why it’s launched LK Borrowed, the brand’s very own rental service.

For £79 a month, you can rent up to two pieces at a time from LK Bennett’s current collection, wear them for as long as you like and then return them when you’re done. There’s no limit on how many pieces you can’t rent out, meaning you can keep exchanging styles for new ones every week.

If you find you really love a particular piece and don’t want to send it back, you can buy it at 50 per cent of the original price. Delivery is free and they even take care of the dry cleaning for you. For an extra £9, you can opt for the ‘Dart’ service, which entitles you to a faster processing and shipment so you can wear your favourite pieces even sooner.

Whether you’re a die-hard LK Bennett fan or someone who lusts after Kate Middleton’s impeccable style but can’t quite justify the splurge, you can now have an ever evolving (royally-approved) wardrobe for a price that’s less than even one LK Bennett dress a month – that’s the kind of maths we like to do.

Whether it’s the Elowen Pink Animal Print Midi Dress that Kate has worn on more than one occasion (and the brand recently brought back into stock) or her pale blue crepe shift dress that she recently wore to launch the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood (above), there will always be something worth adding to your rotating wardrobe from the LK Bennett rental service.
