Kate Garraway’s £45 maxi dress is receiving mixed reviews (but we love it!)

We can all agree that Kate Garraway looks phenomenal as she appears on our TV screens every morning. From her flawless hair and make-up to her chic and often very accessible style, the woman is a walking glam inspiration and her latest look has got us so ready for the spring/summer season.

Before appearing on Good Morning Britain, the ITV presenter’s stylist Debbie Harper took to Instagram to post Kate’s outfit of the day picture – a stunning tan coloured zebra print hanky hem maxi dress by Principles.

The long-sleeved shirt dress is priced at just £45, which if you ask us, is a small price to pay for a flattering fit that can not only be worn as an everyday staple but can easily be dressed up for a glamorous evening look. In fact, it is perfect for all the summer parties and BBQs that’ll no doubt be coming your way as the (hopefully) warmer weather approaches.

Wear it with a pair of white trainers to keep it casual or turn up the glam by throwing on some classic pointed heels like Kate did with her her lovely brown pair.

The dress is currently available on the Debenhams website in sizes 10 to 18, having sold out in sizes 8, 20 and 22. So if you like the look of it, we’d suggest you move fast and order it while it’s still in stock.

However, not everyone was as keen as we were on Kate’s dress this morning. The star actually received some hilarious comments from fans who tweeted in to Good Morning Britain, likening her to a piece of bacon due to the colours and pattern of the dress.

One viewer wrote: ‘Kate Garraway smashing the bacon look out the park this morning @piersmorgan #bacon #streaky #GMB’ While another said: ‘@GMB the dress Kate Garraway is wearing today looks like it’s made out of streaky bacon! #LadyGagaWantsHerDressBack’

Luckily, Kate laughed it off because like us, she knows she looks great.
