Holly Willoughby’s gorgeous gold necklace is still in stock

Holly Willoughby stops us in our tracks with so many amazing outfits, we often forget to look at her accessories. But on Monday’s episode of This Morning, the presenter wore a chic gold necklace with a sweet story that we couldn’t ignore.

Holly shared a snap of her look for filming on her Instagram account, detailing that her cosy autumn knit was from Gap, and her statement midi skirt from high-end brand Markus Lupfer (a cool £350, in case you were wondering).

However, she also noted that her necklace – a simple gold chain with a small swallow and opal stone detail – was a gift from longtime friend Fearne Cotton, who just launched her own collection in collaboration with Carrie Elizabeth Jewellery.

Holly’s piece is 14 carat gold vermeil, and ‘designed to represent happiness, so whoever wears can be set on the path to joy,’ according to the brand. ‘The swallow is flying towards a tiny opal, to reassure you that your dreams are within reach, and the tag on the back of the chain is subtly engraved with “My Happy Place” to reassure you that you are never too far away.’

As well as its meaningful design, the piece is also fairly priced, coming in at £90 through online retailer notonthehighstreet – not unreasonable when you consider the quality.

After seeing her looking lovely in the chain, designer Carrie Elizabeth messaged Holly directly on her post to thank her for the shoutout, saying: ‘SO thrilled to see you in our necklace @hollywilloughby ❤❤❤❤❤,’ and also shared a post on her own account.

‘As a close friend of @fearnecotton, we couldn’t be more thrilled to see Holly wearing this meaningful piece,’ she wrote.
