In the most exciting fashion news this week, H&M’s limited edition Studio A/W 2020 collection launches today and we think it is full of some of their best ever pieces.
The collection is described by the brand as ‘bold opulence meets punk charm in a limited-edition collection that celebrates the magic of floating between hyper feminine and ultra-masculine tailoring.’
We can’t get enough of the colour palette and prints, ranging from aqua blue and emerald green to charcoal grey and blush pink, with striking marble patterns, fine mesh details, exaggerated ruffles and plenty of sequins and glitter. After all, it wouldn’t be party season – albeit a bit different to normal – without sequins and glitter!
The glittery two-piece in a muted maroon shade is a particular favourite of ours – we’ll be wearing the shirt and trouser combo together with a smoky eye for the office Christmas party (even if it’s likely to be held on Zoom this year), or separately with a cosy cream knit over the trousers, and a pair of straight leg jeans for the shirt to be tucked into.
Or if simplicity is more your vibe this season, the new H&M Studio range has some timeless black wool-blend staples, from a pair of perfectly tailored culottes (pair with high boots for the winter) to an elegant, long, straight skirt that will go with just about everything in your wardrobe.
These are our favourite pieces from the H&M Studio A/W 2020 collection to shop before they inevitably sell out…
