H&M is always one of our first ports of call for affordable yet chic homeware. From soft furnishings to lighting, furniture and wall art, the high street stalwart has it all and at great prices, too.
The latest collection to land in the H&M HOME department is the H&M craft collection. Dubbed ‘For the love of craft’, the limited edition collection has been inspired by artisan craftsmanship, resulting in a small range of rustic yet chic handmade natural material homewares spanning cushions, blankets, vases, baskets, glassware and more.
The textiles are made from banana fibre yarn, plant-dyed cotton and handwoven linen (the buttons are made from coconuts); the glass carafes and tumblers are handblown for a unique finish, and the ceramic bowls and vases are all made from terracotta for a charming rustic finish.
‘For thousands of years, artisans all over the world have treasured the work made by hand. The knowledge of weaving, glass-blowing, knitting and ceramics travels from generation to generation, reminding us to slow down and value the unique,’ says H&M.

H&M craft collection:
Add some rustic charm to your kitchen countertop with this handmade bread basket made from braided banana fibre and rattan.
We particularly love the uneven finish on the handblown glassware – the carafes would be great at doubling up as vases, too.
This bulbous vase has (unsurprisingly) already sold out, but sign up for an alert to let you know when it’s back in stock if you love it as much as we do.
For a cosy, rustic feel, this cushion cover made from handwoven jute and plant-dyed cotton is just the ticket.
The perfect fruit bowl, we can imagine piling this terracotta bowl high with zingy lemons and limes.
Chopping boards need to be functional, but that doesn’t have to mean boring – this stunning one in dark acacia wood just proves it.
This handmade braided banana fibre and rattan basket could serve as a stylish storage solution in any room of the house.
Whether you use this bowl as an attractive interior design detail or to keep your keys in is your choice (it’ll look great either way).
