Hardy houseplants for every room

If you dream of a home filled with luscious, tropical, green interiors but always end up with something more akin to Death Valley then you are not alone.  Research suggests that the average Briton spends more than £300 a year on houseplants – but how many of those end up shrivelled and bin-bound?

Aside from their aesthetic value, there is plenty of research to suggest that houseplants have a positive effect on well-being, air quality and even productivity.  With more of us working from home than ever before, there may be no better time to make room for the heavenly plant-rich interiors you desire.
