Emma Willis’ now-renowned collections with Next are always something to look forward to – fashion-forward yet totally wearable, comfortable pieces for the modern woman, all at Next’s affordable prices. What more could we want?
The latest collection for Autumn 2020 drops online today and in stores from 20 August, and it’s full of just as many gorgeous, transitional pieces as we were hoping.
‘The colour palette and print inspiration for this collection came from a 70’s vibe that everybody involved in the design process was really feeling,’ says Emma of the new collection. This is reflected in the paisley prints, which can be see across shirts as well as a pleated midi dress, and in the cut and colour of the tailored pieces.
For the tailoring for this season, however, formality has been ditched in favour of a much more relaxed silhouette, which is aided by softer fabrics and gorgeously long, wide-leg trousers that can be perfectly dressed down with a classic white tee and trainers.
Emma says: ‘A favourite of mine is the camel suit… I love suits, mainly to wear with a trainer and a t-shirt but I didn’t own one in this colour,’ adding: ‘we’ve gone quite 70’s with shape and colour palette for this season.’
Meanwhile, Emma really loves the black co-ordinating top and trousers, of which she says: ‘When I’m going somewhere where I have to think about what I’m going to wear I get a bit flustered so if I can reach for something that I know is quite classic and considered, but really easy to just throw on together I’m happy… for me the black co-ord is that easy pick out of the wardrobe if I’m going somewhere and I need to look a bit smarter.’
Additionally, there are some excellent utility-style shirt dresses that will be wonderful for seeing out the end of summer in and a plethora of shirts and straight leg trousers that will make any back-to-office dressing breeze.
Prices start from £30 and the whole collection is ready to be shopped online now and in stores from 20 August. Below are some of our favourite pieces from the latest Emma Willis x Next Autumn 2020 collection.
