The actual sky might be a blanket of grey cloud right now, but a new trend that’s sweeping across Instagram is making us think of a different kind of cloud – the small, puffy kind that dances its way across a brilliant blue sky on a warm summer’s day.
Cloud motifs are appearing on jumpers, jewellery and more right now, and we’re so here for it. Maybe it’s because we’re yearning for warmer weather and to see blue sky, or maybe we’re just yearning to be outdoors full stop (thanks lockdown), but cloud designs are popping up everywhere.
You’ve likely already swiped past several influencers wearing Glassworks’s cult blue and white cloud intarsia knit on Instagram, but while we wait for the sellout item to come back into stock, here are some more ways to channel the sky-high trend that has our heads in the, erm, clouds.
