Charlotte Hawkins has sparked a surge in sales after sporting a super flattering Dorothy Perkins print jumpsuit live on air.
The Good Morning Britain presenter’s stylist, Debbie Harper, chose the £50 outfit for Charlotte to wear on Friday’s edition of the show, and it’s already proved so popular that a ‘selling fast!’ label has appeared next to the item on the Dorothy Perkins website.
‘Can’t believe that’s DP!’ one viewer exclaimed after Debbie shared a snap of the look on her Instagram account, while another posted: ‘Love a jumpsuit too @charlottehawkins1 ! Lady after my own heart with the shoes too!’
The wide leg parrot print number comes in sizes 6-22 and features a frill-trimmed V-neck and back – perfect for surviving the ongoing heatwave without showing too much skin. You could either make like Charlotte and dress it up with red stilettos, or go casual with some comfy flats and a relaxed summer bag.
It’s not the first time the mum-of-one has sent her followers into a frenzy with a jumpsuit – back in May, she had her following flocking to buy her red Closet London look too.
Although slightly more expensive that her Dorothy Perkins purchase, the £82 suit offers a more coverage with stylish bell sleeves – with fans of the look calling it ‘classy, stylish and beautiful.’
Speaking to The Express about her fashion choices earlier this year, Charlotte revealed: ‘I love the 1950s and ’60s glamour of Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Onassis and Audrey Hepburn.
‘My favourite designer is Suzanne Neville. On the high street I head for shops like Ted Baker, Coast, L.K. Bennett and Zara’ – although we wonder if Dorothy Perkins is now also on the list…
