Question: what do Ariana Grande and Kourtney Kardashian have in common? Answer: a love for a surprisingly affordable range of cosmetics that’s now available to shop at Boots.
Carter Beauty – the brainchild of Marissa Carter, the female entrepreneur behind the world’s first one-hour tan, Cocoa Brown – launched just 12 months ago, but has already been used on some of the most famous faces in the world.
The tagline for the cosmetics is ‘beauty shouldn’t leave you broke’, with a focus on bringing fairly-priced products that measure up to high-end offerings to the masses.
Singer Ariana wore the Carter Beauty Supreme Gel Liner, which costs just £5, in a recent music video, while Kourtney Kardashian was seen in its Full Measure HD Foundation in Creme Brulee for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 16 promo shoot.
Both products, plus 22 others spanning eyes, lips, base and even lashes are now available to shop at boots.com, making it easier than ever to get your hands on. Nothing costs more than £15, with many items priced at less than a tenner.
Sadly the launch hasn’t yet been extended to physical stores, but if you prefer to do your shopping in person, Carter Beauty is also available in Primark shops across the country.
Speaking about the overwhelming success of the line so far, founder Marissa commented: ‘Cocoa Brown Tan has been such a massive success story that Carter Beauty had a lot to live up to. Instead of focusing on that I’ve tried to create really high quality, affordable products that I personally would love to have on my dressing table.
‘Boots is a household name and that’s what we hope to become. We’re massively excited about this launch and hope the UK ladies love it as much as we do.’
