The wedding business is in for a boom year, with many lockdown-delayed weddings now able to take place with a full guest list.
According to the UK Weddings Taskforce, 320,000 weddings were postponed due to the pandemic and, when you group together delayed ceremonies and recently-engaged couples, there are now an estimated 550,000 weddings in the pipeline. .
Not only does that mean a bit of a scrap for wedding venues (eek) but it also means there a whole load of brides-to-be out there looking for the perfect wedding dress – and they might just turn to the high street to find it.
From Ghost to Coast, ASOS to Whistles, plenty of affordable brands are now offering wedding dresses, and if you can find one you love then it’s a great way to save thousands on the big day (which let’s face it, can become a pretty expensive affair).
Below is a round-up of our favourite high street wedding dresses – at least that’s one thing ticked off your list!
