Amanda Holden’s satin Zara dress is the perfect festive buy

If you’re on the look out for a Christmas or New Year’s Eve party dress that’s not too flashy, and you can wear again and again, chances are you may be having a little more trouble than usual. This year, brands are taking a noticeably flashier approach to party dressing, with sequins, glitter, and velvet galore.

There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but if you’d prefer to do something a little more subtle, the good news is that Amanda Holden just wore what could be the absolute perfect option for you.

Amanda took to Instagram to share a picture of her new ensemble, which she wore for her radio show at Heart. She looked stunning in the snap, and fans were keen to know where she’d picked up the beautiful navy satin design.

The good news is that the dress won’t break the bank, either. A high street hit, Amanda’s lovely look is by Zara, and will only set you back a mere £49.99.

Amanda paired hers with her signature blonde curls and some simple black ankle boots, but thanks to its versatile nature, the satin number could be paired with a whole variety of shoes and accessories. For example, combine it with some silver strappy sandals and oversized silver earrings for New Year’s Eve, or come January, just add some chunky knitwear and knee-high boots with tights for the office.

The only bad news is that the dress is currently only available in size XS online, but does go up to a size XL. It’s worth scouting the dress out in your local Zara, as chances are it’ll be stocked somewhere if you time it right. As with many of Zara’s hit pieces, it may also be brought back to the website somewhere down the line, so it’s worth keeping an eye on the product page. Good luck!
