Gwyneth and Kim K both say they swear by them, Courteney Cox was pictured using hers in a restaurant, and even Meghan Markle’s facialist recommends them as part of your kit. If we had to crown a ruling beauty tool right now, it would undoubtedly be the face roller.
Inspired by the ongoing trend for all things crystal, whether you opt for jade, rose quartz or a more unusual stone like amethyst, the roller revolution has well and truly taken over in 2019, with more of us using them to massage in our serums and ease tension in our jawlines than ever.
However, if you’ve always wanted to give one a go but haven’t yet invested, there’s now a more affordable way to jump on the bandwagon, as Aldi has introduced two luxe-looking face rollers as part of its Christmas gifting range.
Entry-level face rollers would typically set you back upwards of £20 on sites like Cult Beauty, and while this may not be an entirely budget-breaking figure, Aldi’s double-ended massagers are less than half the price, at just £6.99 apiece.
Aldi’s rollers are enamelled in gemstone rather than made from them in their entirety, but are still said to boast the same benefits of more expensive offerings, from improving the performance of your regular products by working them deeper into the skin to targeting fine lines and wrinkles, defining facial contours and boosting circulation.
‘By promoting lymphatic drainage it helps to relieve feelings of tension, providing you with your very own pamper session at the same time,’ the store explains.
The Lacura quartz and jade rollers are available to pre-order on the Aldi website now, and will officially go on sale from tomorrow – but with their current levels of popularity, we don’t imagine they’ll be around for long.
As a stocking filler with a difference, a Secret Santa present they’ll actually use, or a treat to yourself amidst the madness of the festive season, you could certainly do a lot worse…
