If there’s one thing we love more than booze news, it’s affordable booze news – and with that being said, it’s our lucky day. Aldi has launched a new range of half-bottle wines with prices starting at just £2.49.
The budget supermarket, which has become renowned for its award-winning wine range, has introduced mini bottles of white, red and rosé wine. The 37.5cl bottles are perfect for those of us who enjoy a mid-week tipple after a long day at work, but often find ourselves not wanting to finish off an entire bottle once it has been opened.
This way, wine lovers can do just that only the bottle will be half the size of an average meaning you’ll consume less alcohol and avoid that regretful headache the morning after – all while saving money too, of course.
Aldi’s new half bottles are also a great way for those who are fresh out of Dry January and are keen to cut back on the booze as a result. In fact, the range couldn’t have come at a better time.
Customers can now choose from the a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc if you’re a white wine fan, an Italian Rosé, described as a light rosé with flavours of wild berries, or a smooth Argentinian Malbec if you fancy a nice glass of red.
Fans of Aldi’s very own Exquisite Collection Mâcon-Villages Burgundy will also be pleased to hear that you can now purchase it in in mini 18.7cl bottles for the unbelievable price of just £1.99. The popular white wine has won silver at the International Wine and Spirit Competition in the paste, and now you can get a taste of it for less than £2. Could Aldi’s bargains get any better?
