Aldi has been brightening up our summer for the past few years with its annual gin festival – a time-honoured celebration of all things juniper which sees a range of exciting new products arrive on the shelves as the temperatures begin to soar.
The range usually sells out in double quick time, but if you’ve tried – and loved – some of its fun flavoured offerings before, you’ll be pleased to hear that the gin festival is back and better than ever for 2019, with three new bottles and a selection of gin-themed extras coming to a store near you this week.
The fruity new offerings include a Blackcurrant & Liquorice Gin (£19.99), a Raspberry & Elderflower Gin Liqueur (£9.99) and a summery Rhubarb Gin (£19.99), all of which come in suitably pretty bottles that won’t look out of place on your Instagram feed.
There’s also a new line of Eden Mill pre-mixed cocktails with berry, citrus and basil twists, plus two miniature gin tasting kits, 85p G&T tins and even a selection of botanicals with that can be stirred into your favourite blend to elevate the flavour even further. You can even get a set of assorted gin glasses for just £7.99.
If you’re a gin fan that’s as excited about all of this as we are, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s not long to wait before you can get your hands on it, as the full Gin Festival collection will be in stores from 26 May.
In the meantime, here’s a full breakdown to wet your whistle before the fun really be-gins…
