We know it may sound a tad early to start talking about autumnal knitwear, given that August isn’t even over yet. But with high street stores and designers dropping their autumn-winter collections, the transitional knitwear trends are starting to take form.

And when we say we love them, we mean we really love them. So much so that we want to start wearing them now.
One of the upcoming season’s trends that is super wearable is collars. The little detail is popping up on knitted jumpers and cardigans all over, adding a laidback, retro look to any outfit. Another vintage-led trend that’s taking the high street by storm is embroidery, specifically floral embellished, chunky knitwear that has a sweet, homespun feel. Your nan will be so proud.

This season’s trends of colour blocking and bright, near-neon shades aren’t going anywhere either. Think: vivid tangerines and hot pinks (the magenta mohair knit from Golden Goose, below, is the perfect illustration). Summer’s not quite over yet.
